Massage of the Ba: The ancient Egyptians believed in a Ba and a Ka. The Ba being the body of light and the Ka being the shadow of light. This massage focuses on the Ba and helps provide information on where blockages in your life are occurring. This involves a discussion before the massage which involves physical touch with sacred oils, usually pure rose.

The Ancient Egyptians believed certain oils and herbs to be sacred in feeding the Ba (light body) and controlling the Ka (shadow body). These oils are used in many rituals and in connection with the Neter energies.

Connection with the Neters
In ancient Egypt the natural forces were called the Neters (also seen as Neteru). The Neters are what modern society has labeled the gods and goddesses of Egypt- Through out the thosands of years of history, there were over 3000 depicted neters- each with a specific energy that is portrayed through their stories, rites, animal/plant connection, and sacred spaces. Through working with these energies, we are coming back to nature and in harmony with ourselves and those around us. As we step more into the understanding of different energies, we understand how our unique energy interacts with other energies, how to best serve our specific energy, how to be in harmony with other energies, and what energies might bring out the most opportunity for healing.
This is understanding your role within the vast universe.
Using the example of Sekhmet, the lion goddess, we can use her energy to understand the fierce energy of expelling all that is not truth. With her lion heart, she is brave and will not allow anything other than that which aligns with total love in her field. On the contrary, she can also go too far in her destruction and needs love to bring her out of her war path. Meditating into her energy forces us to see the untruths and things that do not serve us any longer. We cannot hide from this energy once called upon. It will uproot all in your life which does not serve out soul especially in the physical and Earthly aspects. To work with Sekhmet energy is to remove the shadows and disharmony that we might normally be blinded to. To work with any of these Neter energies, is to understand how your current energy system works with others. You will find where you naurally harmonize and thrive and also find where you have opportunity to connect deeper into your soul.
